I've just had an encounter with this particular troll. I'd not realised he was such a phenomenon before I decided to google his handle to try and figure out where he got my SN from. This is mostly taken from the LJ entry I made about it.

at this point, I should point out, something clicks in my brain - this handle looks vaguely familiar. I check my chat logs and nothing, but I'm on the laptop and I haven't used it for long so it might be on my main computer etc. A quick check after the conversation proved my memory to be correct - he's asked me this TWICE before.

Me: It very, very rarely works well to give other people ideas of things to write. Plots and characterisations and such have to appear to the writer and appeal to him or her or else it won't work.
